By executing Steps 1–3 of the standard DEMATEL procedure, we attained a total-

influence matrix (Figure 2), in which the key influences were helpful for deriving the

strategy map of the BSC, which shows the cause-effect relationships among the factors.

Kaplan and Norton (1996) indicated that learning and growth affect the business process,

which then affects customer factors, which in turn influence the financial factors.

Identifying the threshold for generating the key influences is not straightforward. We

employed the Li-Tzeng maxi-mean de-entropy threshold (Li and Tzeng, 2009) to identify
