procurement from Chinese suppliers involves risks in dynamic situations. Therefore, the

analysis of individual supplier risks is necessary to derive coping strategies to develop an

effective supplier risk early warning system.

2. Design/Methodology/Approach

How do enterprises respond and manage these risk factors? The concept framework

of this research was created through a literature review and expert interviews. The Delphi

method was subsequently employed to achieve consensus and identify a study framework

comprising 4 dimensions and 15 criteria. Finally, the Decision-Making Trial and

Evaluation Laboratory-based Analytic Network Process method (DEMATEL-based ANP;

DANP) was used weight and rank the dimensions and criteria. The feasibility and

applicability of the created system was verified through a risk assessment case involving

actual suppliers.

These two methods have been combined for solving multiple criteria decision-

making problems in different fields. To determine the level of interdependence and

significance of the indicators regarding the accomplishment of our objective, DEMATEL

and ANP were combined in this study.

The operation model of DANP involved operation steps, the selection of key factors,

and the design of a cause-and-effect diagram (Figure 7).
