"Emotion and Its Correlates in Asian Contexts", edited by Professor Shu-Cheng Steve Chi of National Taiwan University, talks about the importance of human emotion in the studies of management. Emotion is found to be a critical factor that guides employees’ work performance and also affects their organizational citizenship behavior and withdrawal tendency. Furthermore, it plays a large role in affecting human behavior in the areas of human resources management, marketing, information management, etc. Professor Chi compiled six articles that discusses the consequences of emotions in relation to management.
