Editor’s Note
NTU Management Review promotes high-quality management research by
encouraging submissions across diverse research domains, while further enhancing the
rigor and professionalism of its review process.
On November 21, 2025, NTU Management Review hosted 2025 Paper Review and
Journal Editing Workshop, aiming at assisting and inspiring junior scholars in identifying
high-quality academic manuscripts and in developing clear, constructive, and insightful
review comments. The workshop also sought to foster the exchange of concepts, ideas, and
methodological approaches within the management research community. We feel honored
to invite Professor Han Zhang, Dean and Chair Professor of the School of Business at
Hong Kong Baptist University and Editor-in-Chief of Information & Management, as the
keynote speaker. His lecture, entitled “Beyond the Decision Letter: Editorial Insights for
the Publication Journey,” provided valuable perspectives on the editorial decision-making
process and the academic publication lifecycle.
Through this workshop, the reviewing expertise of senior scholars and the editorial
vision of NTU Management Review were effectively conveyed to junior scholars, who
in turn developed a stronger understanding of the principles and practices of academic
reviewing and editing.

In celebration of its 35 anniversary, the journal also hosted a forum titled “Retrospect
and Prospect of Management Research” in late March. The forum featured contributions
from scholars across nine management-related disciplines, complemented by a keynote
speech and panel discussions led by distinguished scholars with extensive research
experience. These sessions offered insightful perspectives on future research directions
and provided guidance on how junior scholars may enhance their scholarly contributions
and the impact of their work.
In addition, editors from seven leading management journals in Taiwan were invited
to participate in a panel discussion entitled “How to Successfully Publish in Leading
Academic Journals.” Through experience sharing and interactive discussions, the forum
aimed to promote dialogue within the academic community.
