has worked for Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Shanghai Jiao Tong
University in China. He has held a visiting position at Indiana State University, Temple
University and National Taiwan University. He now serves as the research fellow at the
Risk and Insurance Research Center at National Chengchi University and Networks
Financial Institute at Indiana State University. Prof. Cheng’s research focuses on empirical
studies of insurance, corporate finance and accounting. He has published numerous articles
in insurance journals (such as Journal of Risk and Insurance).
Tzuting Lin
Prof. Lin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance, National Taiwan
University, Taipei, Taiwan. She obtained her doctoral degree from Temple University
with a major in Risk Management and Insurance (2011). She also serves as the research
fellow at the Risk and Insurance Research Center at National Chengchi University. Prof.
Lin’s research focuses on empirical studies of insurance accounting and finance. She
has published numerous articles in Journal of Risk and Insurance, The Geneva Risk and
Insurance Review, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Journal of Insurance
Issues, and The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance - Issues and Practice.
