About NTU Management Review
Mission Statement & Overview

To encourage theoretical as well as experimental studies; to promote discussions as well as constructive dialogues between scholars and practitioners, the College of Management in National Taiwan University has been regularly publishing NTU Management Review (NTUMR) since the 1990s.
NTUMR is the academic platform for original research papers, commentary articles regarding dominant issues. In recent years, NTUMR also proactively holds international or interdisciplinary conferences, and publish special issues afterward.
NTUMR is fairly young if compared to other sister publications. The very first issue is published in May 1990, after the College Affair Meeting passed the regulations governing the publication of NTUMR on 9^th November 1989. Starting with one volume one issue per year, NTUMR has been gradually receiving more and more attention and submission from the scholarly circle. In 1994, NTUMR changes to two issues per year, and later has special issues published from 2009. NTUMR becomes a triannual journal beginning from 2015, publishing in June, September, and December. Since 2018, the issuing months change to April, August, and December.
Cross-disciplinary scholars have been contributing and forming the editor board of NTUMR. While refreshing the editorial board following the regulations, NTUMR brings in the system of area editors since 1^st August 2005. Functioning as chief reviewers, area editors also help recommend other excellent scholars to participate in the reviewing processes. To further strengthen reviewing processes, the advisory board is added in October 2014. And since 1^st August 2016, several internationally acclaimed scholars have accepted our invitation and served in both editorial and advisory boards.

Digital Dissemination and Access

NTUMR has been collaborating with several institutions on digital publishing and access to promote scholarly communication. All published articles have been included in National Taiwan University Journal Database, Chinese Electronic Periodical Services (CEPS), HyReadJournal, Yue Dan zhishi ku (Yue Dan Knowledge Database), Asia World Academic Research Database (AWARD), and Taiwan Journals Search (TJ-Search). NTUMR has also been indexed in Taiwan Social Sciences Citation Index (TSSCI) since 2006; in Scopus, EBSCO, ProQuest, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) since 2013. Other digital access services include online preview (2013-), e-Paper(2014-), e-Journal (2016-) and virtual issues (Aug. 2018-).
NTUMR has been evaluated as tier one journal and included in the core journal list in 2017 and again in 2019 by the Research Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences (RIHSS) of Taiwan Ministry of Social Sciences.
NTUMR has become an invaluable platform for academic exchanges between domestic as well as international scholars.
