NTU Management Review Submission Guidelines

  1. NTU Management Review (hereafter NTUMR) is a scholarly journal published biannually in April and October. We welcome original research articles and case studies that have not been previously published elsewhere. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, accounting, business administration, marketing, information management, human resource management, financial management, and healthcare management. Simultaneous or duplicate submissions are strictly prohibited. Announcements regarding academic activities and calls for papers will be posted on our website and circulated to readers and subscribers in advance.

  2. Copyright of accepted manuscripts is held by NTUMR. Authors retain full responsibility for integrity, accuracy, and ethical compliance of their work. Any potential conflicts of interest must be proactively disclosed at the time of submission. Authors must also ensure compliance with the regulations of their respective funding organizations.

  3. Upon publication, all listed authors must sign a Copyright License Agreement. Authors grant a royalty-free license to the “National Taiwan University Journal Database” (established by the College of Management and NTU Press), as well as to authorized partner institutions of the College and NTU Press. This license permits editing, reproduction, translation, public transmission, and database inclusion in both print and digital formats for reading, downloading, and printing. Authors further authorize NTU Press to publish the article in print and electronic formats to promote academic dissemination.

  4. A submission fee of NTD 3,600 is required. Payment must be completed via the Online Credit Card Payment system according to the provided instructions. This fee covers the entire review process; no additional charges apply for re-review or upon acceptance. Other payment methods including alternative currencies, cash, or checks, are not accepted. The journal is printed in black and white by default; authors are responsible for any additional costs associated with color printing.

  5. An electronic receipt is available immediately after payment. Please log in to your account (Author Login) and navigate to Download > Download Receipt.

  6. In principle, manuscripts should not exceed 50 pages, inclusive of Chinese and English abstracts, references, appendices, tables, and figures. Exceptions may be granted for qualitative research; however, authors are encouraged to limit extensions to a reasonable length. Please refer to the NTUMR Submission Guide (Submission > Download > NTUMR Submission Guide) for detailed formatting requirements. NTUMR reserves the right to make stylistic and formatting adjustments to ensure editorial consistency. Since 2023, all submissions are subject to similarity (plagiarism) checks upon receipt.

  7. Manuscripts that meet the journal’s scope and formatting requirements will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers are recommended by the Area Editors. Final publication decisions are made based on the evaluations of both reviewers and Area Editors. NTUMR strictly protects the personal information of authors, reviewers, and subscribers; all data processed through the submission and review system is handled with confidentiality and security.

  8. Manuscripts that fail to meet the required standards of academic contribution, originality or methodological rigor will be rejected. To facilitate timely review and publication, authors must submit revisions within four months of receiving reviewer comments. Failure to resubmit within this timeframe will result in disqualification and the manuscript being treated as rejected. In exceptional circumstances, one extension per manuscript may be granted upon written request to the Editorial Office (ntupmcenter@ntu.edu.tw).

  9. Authors must ensure that all contributors are accurately listed prior to submission. Requests to add, remove, or reorder authors after an acceptance or rejection decision are strongly discouraged. If changes are necessary, authors must notify the Editorial Office before resubmitting for the second review. The request email must include: justification for the change, the revised author order, and a detailed explanation of differences between the original and revised manuscripts. Approval requires consent from two-thirds of the Area Editors.

  10. After acceptance, authors are responsible for carefully proofreading the typeset version of the manuscripts.

  11. Guidelines on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
    Accountability and Accuracy
Authors bear full responsibility for the content, accuracy, and viewpoints presented in their manuscripts. Although generative AI tools (including large language models) continue to evolve rapidly, they have inherent limitations, such as outdated information, potential inaccuracies, logical inconsistencies, bias, or fabricated content. AI-generated material must not be incorporated into manuscripts without thorough verification. Such tools may serve as references only; full-scale reproduction is prohibited. Authors must ensure that no intellectual property rights are infringed.
    Principles for AI Assistance
When using generative AI tools for linguistic editing or technical assistance, authors must ensure that their professional judgement, academic integrity, and methodological rigor remain fully intact.
