Carl R. Chen is the Professor of Finance and the William J. Hoben Chair in Finance at the University of Dayton, USA. Professor Chen’s academic experiences include the Department Chair at the University of Dayton, Director of the Master of Finance at the University of Dayton, Visiting Professor at National Chengchi University in Taiwan, Visiting Professor at Renmin University in China, Visiting Chair Professor at Southwest University of Finance and Economics in China, Honorary Professor at National Dong Hwa University in Taiwan, Visiting Chair Professor at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, and Visiting Chair Professor at National Taiwan University in Taiwan. Professor Chen teaches a variety of finance courses including corporate finance, investments, portfolio management, and derivatives. Professor Chen has published more than 100 papers in economics and finance journals. His recent research appears in Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Financial Management, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Derivatives, Journal of Futures Markets, and Journal of Financial Services Research. Professor Chen is the Editor of the International Review of Economics and Finance, the Associate Editor of Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting; and the past Associate Editor of Journal of Financial Research.
