Management Research and Practice in the Asia Pacific Region

Background
As the Asia Pacific region has become a major engine of global economic growth and business innovation in recent years, it is essential for scholars and practitioners to explore, analyze, and interpret emerging management practices within this region. The 2027 Management Theory and Practice Conference aims to provide a platform for exchanging ideas, research findings, and practical insights on management in the Asia Pacific context. Scholars and practitioners from around the world are warmly invited to participate and contribute.

Scope and Topics
The 2027 Management Theory and Practice Conference highlights management research from an Asia Pacific perspective, seeking fresh insights across multiple fields including accounting, finance, corporate governance and environmental management, marketing, organizational behavior, information systems, production and operations management, and artificial intelligence. We welcome original research that advances management theory and practice, as well as case studies that analyze real-world management phenomena.

We invite original theoretical or empirical research papers, literature reviews, and case studies aligned with the conference theme. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

All submissions must follow the NTU Management Review style (see below) and will undergo a double-blind review process. Authors of accepted conference papers are strongly encouraged to submit their work to NTU Management Review and for a fast-track journal review.

NTU Management Review Style Guide
Submissions need to comply with the editorial guidelines and formatting requirements of NTU Management Review (http://review.management.ntu.edu.tw/page.aspx?pid=24&lang=en). Reviews will be based on criteria including topics significance, relevant literature, research questions, methodological rigor, analytical quality, and coherence of argumentation.

Submission Requirements:
  • Manuscripts need to be written in English
  • Please ensure that the full-text manuscript is anonymous
  • Use 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 2.54 cm margins
  • Maximum length: 15,000 words
  • Submission format: PDF
  • Note: Authors are responsible for all travel and accommodation expenses and accepted papers need to be presented at the Conference
Registration Fee
  • Faculty & Researchers: USD 400 (NTD 12,800) per person
  • Graduate Students: USD 100 (NTD 3,200) per person
  • Kyoto University Faculty Members: USD 80 (NTD 2,560) per person
  • Kyoto University Graduate Students: USD 50 (NTD 1,600) per person
