Finally but not the least,
Lin, Lin, and Chou
in a review paper address two key
questions from a service experience perspective: (1) what have we learned from prior
research about service experience in Asia and (2) what major issues should future research in
this area address. They examine these questions under seven major topics: customer/
employee emotion, service employee management, service environments, customer
participation, self-service technologies, service failure/recovery, and customer loyalty
management. It is worthy of note that Lin, Lin, and Chou is the first paper that we publish in
the series of review papers to celebrate the 25th anniversary of
NTU Management Review
.
In summary, this issue publishes three articles in the accounting area, two in the finance area,
three in the marketing area, one in the information management area, and another one in the
organizational behavior area. These studies employ different methods for collecting
empirical data, including questionnaire survey, experiment, and field-archives.
As mentioned earlier,
NTU Management Review
celebrated its 25th anniversary on
December 4, 2015. Many renowned scholars were invited to write review papers of
management research in the area of accounting, finance, marketing and international
business, operations and information management, organization behavior and human
resources, and strategy and technology management. Starting this issue, we publish the
review papers. We hope this series of papers can offer useful insights and identify fruitful
topics and questions for future research.
