NTU Management Review places a high value on interdisciplinary research as well as collaboration and wholeheartedly welcome our two new distinguished area editors, Professor Nicole Huang ( 黃心苑 ) and Professor Heng-Chiang Huang ( 黃恆獎 ). Professor Nicole Huang of the Institute of Hospital and Health Care Administration, National Yang-Ming University is known for her expertise in health policy and medical quality. Professor Heng- Chiang Huang of the Department of International Business in College of Management, National Taiwan University (NTU) excels in the research fields including international business management, international marketing, marketing research and quantitative models, as well as consumer behaviors. NTU Management Review also collaborates with Health and Welfare NSP Project Office, CIER and held “Management and Medical Sciences Interdisciplinary Conference” from October 30 th to November 1 st at the Sungreat International Convention Hall, NTU College of Management. The honored guests of the Conference include Shan-Chwen Chang, Vice President of NTU; Yen-Hsuan Ni, Dean of College of Medicine, NTU; Shing-Yang Hu, Dean of College of Management, NTU; Ming-Shiang Wu, Superintendent of National Taiwan University Hospital; James C.F. Huang, Chairman of Taiwan External Trade Development Council; and Dr. Liu, Da-Nien, from Health and Welfare NSP Project Office, CIER. The Conference included in its 12 presentation sessions a total of 46 research paper and on six poster boards 28 displays of research summaries. Moreover, it includes a panel discussion entitled “The New Southbound Policy and International Medical Services” hosted by Professors Chia-Yu Chu and Yun-Ju Huang. The session virtually brought five overseas scholars and experts (from Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore, respectively) to share their first-hand experience on management of health institutes in response to COVID-19 pandemic. The Conference awards three research papers the Excellent Paper Award and the other six the Editor’s Choice Award.
