Editor’s Note

First of all, we would like to thank T. N. Soong Foundation for its continuous strong
support for over 16 years. To encourage research efforts in accounting, auditing, finance,
taxation, ESG, and accounting information management in Taiwan, the Foundation has
been sponsoring the Best Master’s Thesis Award since 1996. NTU Management Review
has been publishing quite a few awarded research papers ever since. We extend our
heartfelt thanks once again for the Foundation’s enduring support.
On March 30, 2024, NTU Management Review and Peking University cohosted
the conference titled “2024 Cross-Strait Economic Management Theory and Practice” in
Peking, China. Not only did we receive hundreds of international submissions, but we
also attracted plenty of honored scholars to participate. The conference invited Professor
Chung-Ming Kuan, NTU’s former president, to be the keynote speaker. Through this
conference, we created a platform for cross-strait scholars to exchange ideas, share
insights, and foster collaborative efforts in advancing research and academic discourse.
Moreover, NTU Management Review and Journal of Accounting Review will jointly
hold the “2024 Frontiers in Accounting and Finance International Conference” at Dah
Hsian Seetoo Library, National Chengchi University, on April 20, 2024. We have received
enthusiastic submissions and we expect that the conference will once again create fruitful
               and in-depth discussions.
In addition, Pusan National University, National Taipei University of Technology, and
NTU Management Review will jointly hold the “2024 Management Innovation: Frontier of
Technology, Intelligence and Analytics” in Pusan in October, 2024. We aim to introduce
novel theories and concepts to academics and industries and improve corporate technology
innovation and management in Korea and Taiwan. We expect to attract more international
scholars to participate and to establish positive relationships among universities.
NTU Management Review places a high value in interdisciplinary researches as well
as collaboration. The Board of Editors wholeheartedly welcome two new distinguished
scholars to join the Area Editors Committee. Our first new area editor is Professor
Yen-Chun Chou(周彥君), an excellent scholar from Department of Management
Information System, National Chengchi University. She excels in the research fields
including e-commerce, service science, and econometric analysis.
