resignation—mediate the relationship between women’s Big Five personality traits and their subjective career success. Finally, the model has derived both theoretical and practical implications regarding how women can achieve their career success in organizations by overcoming the possible glass ceiling effect. In the last article of OB & HR, Huang and Tsai focus on the effects of subjective well- being (SWB), and they aim to investigate the mediating processes in the relationships of SWB and job performance. Referring to the broaden-and-build theory, this study proposes job satisfaction and self-efficacy as the affect-driven and cognition-driven mediators to explain why SWB impacts helping behavior and task performance. In this study, 155 employees and 61 supervisors, totaling 155 dyads, completed the survey. Results show that SWB is a multi-dimensional construct, which may be divided into these components: happiness, life satisfaction, life meaning, and self-love. Moreover, results demonstrate that happiness and life satisfaction are positively related to job satisfaction, which then indirectly enhances helping behavior. In conclusion, this study reveals that self-efficacy mediates the relationships between happiness, life meaning, and task performance. Hsiou-Wei Lin David Ming-Huang Chiang San-Lin Chung
