臺大管理論叢 NTU Management Review VOL.28 NO.3

from our chief editor, while raising the visibility of the papers from our journals and further exploring the results of past studies. Professor Shih-Chang Hung from National Tsing Hua University recommended six research papers as this issue’s chief editor, and we will continue to launch independent studies in different fields in the future. In regards to the call for papers in independent studies, this issue includes a call for papers related to customer engagement and marketing strategies based on digitalized interactions. With the rise of the internet, e-commerce, mobile communications, and other e-tailer technologies, innovative platforms are appearing, complicating the buying behavior of consumers. Consumers traverse between physical stores, E-stores, mobile phone applications, and social media as they engage in different purchasing patterns. The interactions between businesses and customers have become more diverse; businesses now have various ways of understanding and communicating with their customers, as well as creating and conveying values to them. Businesses can also acquire important customer data for the purpose of analyzing said data, enabling them to strategize accordingly. In this digital age, the exchanging of values no longer follows traditional methods. Instead, values are created through methods that mutually benefit consumers, businesses, and social network members, all of whom coexist in one ecosystem. In response to this trend, NTUMR has made a call for papers in related topics. Please check the description for more information regarding paper submission. The deadline for submission is expected to be April 30th of 2019. We welcome experts from all fields to send in papers for submission. A special thank you goes to Dr. Samuel Yin, President of Ruentex Financial Group, who partially sponsored NTUMR under Yin-Xun-Ruo Educational Foundation, allowing our journal to continuously publish distinguished publications. Our appreciation also goes out to the Research Institute for the Humanities and Social Science, Ministry of Science and Technology ( 科技部人文社會科學研究中心 ), for sponsoring the hiring of editorial assistants, who have provided invaluable assistance. Last but not least, we would like to thank T. N. Soong Foundation for their continuing support. To encourage research in accounting, auditing, finance, taxation, information, and management in Taiwan, the Foundation has sponsored the Best Master’s Thesis Award since 1996. Several winning papers have been published by NTUMR ever since.
