This time, NTUMR once again has invited KU to co-organize an international conference. This time, Professor Norio Kambayashi of Kobe University is invited to give a keynote speech on transitions of Japanese human resource and organization management practice and the proposition of integrating work and life. A parallel workshop with Mark Cannice (University of San Francisco), Yanto Chandra (City University of Hong Kong), Jin-ichiro Yamada (Osaka City University) on Entrepreneurship Research, Education, and Practice, moderated by Professor Ji-Ren Lee, is also organized. Through interactions and exchanges, scholars from different areas have reached agreements on topics of forward-looking management, not only bringing new aspects and creative ideas on management theory and practice, but also contributing substantial meanings as references for organizations.

The 2016 seminar has called for papers on the topic of Management Research and Practice in the Asia Pacific Region, and received many papers from Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Pakistan. After reviewing, 64 authors were invited to present their papers at the seminar.   This seminar had helped to form closer interaction and exchange between KU and NTU; Dean Ruey-Shan Andy Guo and NTUMR look forward to future exchange and further cooperation with more internationally renowned academic institutes as to promote our university’s international academic and educational exchange, promote our international position, expand students’ international vision, and enhance research collaborations.
