193 NTU Management Review Vol. 31 No. 2 Aug. 2021 NTUMR & APMR 2022 Special Topic Call for Papers From Sharing Economy to Collaborative Commerce: Sustainability and Transformation Competitive Edge With the rapid development of internet and mobile communication technology, many companies are hoping to introduce information technology systems to respond to the changing environment and create sustainable competitive advantages. Collaborative commerce is one of the evolutionary trends on the developmental context. Technologydriven business model innovation is key for new start-ups seeking to gain a market niche to meet the needs of today’s society. Collaborative commerce focuses on the effective sharing and integration of information between enterprises and their pivotal and important individuals, such as upstream and downstream suppliers and customers, through the assistance of information technology. The sharing economy emphasizes the creation of more efficient sharing and the utilization of idle resources through the matching of network platforms. It is a new type of business model driven by society, the economy, and technology. To explore whether it could create a sustainable competitive advantage or cause a shift in business competition paradigm, in addition to technology, many internal and external factors in the organization are also interlocking. Themed “From Sharing Economy to Collaborative Commerce: Sustainability and Transformation Competitive Edge”, National Taiwan University Management Review and Asia Pacific Management Review are devoted to provide a platform to invite experts and scholars in related fields to submit original and rigorous academic papers. We look forward to thoroughly discussing the competitive advantages or transformation process of collaborative commerce while also providing new research trends and practical implications. In order to improve the quality of research papers solicited for this topic and promote the formation of the focus research community, we will hold a symposium at National Cheng Kung University in Spring 2022. Scholars are welcome to contribute actively, and the manuscript review will adopt a double-blind review process. Selected
